Yamaha CX-A5000 Pre-Amplifier and MX-A5000 Hi-Current Amplifier |
CX-A5000 Rear Panel |
In the CX-A5000, all channels use ultra high performance ESS Technology
ES9016 SABRE32™ Ultra DACs , which provide 192 kHz/32-bit compatible
high SN ratio and dynamic range, ensuring that it can faithfully
reproduce audio signals from Blu-ray Disc™ and other players and high
quality signals from high resolution sound sources input through
networks. Matched to the design of the DAC circuit, which achieves
stable ground potential (DAC on Pure Ground), they ensure high precision
D/A conversion. The OP amp is a high grade type adopted only by
flagship models for maximum signal purity. It realizes even more
detailed sound by adopting a three-layer circuit board design that
completely separates the digital, analog video and analog audio circuit
boards, which have different noise levels and frequency bands, and by a
design that provides the shortest possible circuit route. Further, by
separating the power supplies to the analog circuit boards, it
eliminates high frequency noise interference from the digital circuits.
The shielded power supply restricts noise radiation and the large power
transformer minimizes vibration.
MX-A5000 Rear Panel |
As part of the no-compromise design policy for this amplifier, Yamaha
created an advanced chassis with strong rigidity. Chassis stiffness is
enhanced by an H-shaped cross frame that boosts mechanical strength, by
adopting aluminum side panels that increase the stiffness of the housing
and by a three-ply structure with independent top cover and side
panels. Any external vibration from the rack or other sources is damped
by heavy insulators. The A.R.T. (Anti-Resonance Technology) Wedge in the
center of the bottom cover acts as an additional vibration
countermeasure and firmly supports the internal circuits and delicate
parts. In addition, the MX-A5000 has a double bottom, consisting of
vibration control plates made of 1/8 inch (1.6 mm) black steel, the same
type of construction used on the previous flagship model Z11. In order
to support the heavy heat sinks and other parts, it has a left-right
independent construction strengthened by a rigid-frame structure. The
bottom frame reduces the transmission of vibration produced by the large
power supply transformer and heat sinks. It also incorporates a heavy
insulator that blocks external vibration.

Voltage Regulation
Improve system performance and prolong equipment life by providing a consistent level of optimal power to your equipment.Improves Picture and Sound Quality
Level 4+ Power Cleaning and Filtration eliminates common symptoms of contaminated power (including loss of detail, pops, hisses, hums and visual artifacts) and allows your A/V equipment to perform up to its full capability.Monitors Incoming Line Voltage and Provides a Visual Indication of Power Level
Panamax’s patent pending AVM™ circuitry continuously monitors the incoming power as displayed on the digital voltmeter. In case of an undervoltage or an overvoltage, a flashing lightning bolt will be displayed in red in the voltmeter, and power to the connected equipment is automatically turned off if either of these conditions is detected. When voltage returns to a safe level, power to the equipment is automatically reconnected.Reduces Cross-Contamination Between Components
The M5400-PM is designed to provide noise isolation between 5 isolated outlet banks including 2 high current outlets so that any noise created by an A/V component can not contaminate the power going to equipment plugged into another outlet bank.Specifications

The Yamaha YWA-10 wireless network adapter can be used to connect a Yamaha network AV receiver to a wireless home network. The YWA-10 connects to the Ethernet port on the back of your Yamaha network receiver and communicates directly with your wireless router. It's powered by the DC out jack or USB port of the receiver, so there is no need to take up an additional electrical outlet. The YWA-10 even has a second Ethernet output that can be used to provide network access to another device such as a smart TV or Blu-ray Disc™ player.
System base price only $18,000 excluding sales tax and installation labor, wiring and furniture or rack to mount equipment.
